Here you'll find answers to some frequently asked questions about WP Pusher. If your question isn't answered, please reach out.
Can I reuse my license on multiple sites?
Yes. You can easily revoke your license from inactive sites.
Even from the WP admin or from the
dashboard.
Does it work on networks (multisite)?
Yup. WP Pusher is built to play well with multisite. WP
Pusher runs from the network admin, so users on your network
won't even see it.
How does renewals work?
Your license key for WP Pusher is valid for 1 year, after
which it will automatically be renewed. We do not store your
credit card information. Stripe does this for us. If you for
some reason do not wish to renew, you can cancel your
license from the
dashboard.
Will you have access to my server?
Nope! And we wouldn’t want to. We communicate with the
WordPress core through our plugin. WordPress plugins with
shell access are dangerous. We want to work smarter than
that.
Does it support private repositories?
Yes, but private repositories requires a license.
Do you support Bitbucket and GitLab?
Yes, WP Pusher works with Bitbucket, GitHub and GitLab.
Do I need Git installed on the server?
No! WP Pusher doesn't require Git. That's why it works with
even the cheapest of shared hosting services.
Will it work on my server?
Yes, most likely. We hook into core WordPress functionality.
If the WordPress theme and plugin installer works on your
installation, WP Pusher will as well.
Is it secure?
You never have to give us any sensitive information about
your server. To make it easier to use WP Pusher, you can
have WP Pusher generate a token for you, which will have
access to your GitHub / Bitbucket account, but this is
100% optional. The token that WP
Pusher uses to access private repositories is stored locally
on your own WordPress installation. We only communicate with
your server through the WordPress core and would never force
you to give us shell access.
Do you have a money-back guarantee?
Yes! We offer you to try WP Pusher completely risk-free for
30 days. If for some reason you don't like the product, just
tell us and we'll offer you a full refund. Even on day 30!
No questions asked.
Will you ask for FTP or SSH access?
No, because we made a solution that works smarter than that.
Everything is managed through our plugin which hooks into
already existing WordPress features (the upgrader, that is).
Why do you need access to all my GitHub / Bitbucket
repositories?
The short answer is: We don't. This is only needed if you
want WP Pusher to help generate a token for you. When you
use WP Pusher to generate a token you'll be asked to give
the WP Pusher application access to information about all
your repositories. We can't request a token that only has
access to one specified repository, unfortunately. This is
how GitHub / Bitbucket works. However, you can manually
create a token yourself, instead of using the WP Pusher
popup to generate on. This token will still have access to
all your repositories, but it is only stored on your own
WordPress installation. If you want more fine grained
control, you can create another user that only has access to
a limited number of repositories on GitHub / Bitbucket.

Take the pain out of WordPress development. Push your code to GitHub where it belongs and never again deploy files over FTP on cheap shared hosting.
